Martensitic steel 1.4418 is characterised by remarkable ease of welding and superior corrosion resistance compared to AISI 304 steel, also showing good resistance against organic and inorganic acids at room temperature. Its ability to be welded proves to be excellent and is on a par with other martensitic steels in terms of weldability performance.
