Nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy
Alloy 625 / 2.4856 is a low-carbon nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy. It offers excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, impact corrosion and intergranular attack. It has good resistance to mineral acids, such as nitric, phosphoric, sulphuric and hydrochloric acids. Good resistance also to alkalis and organic acids.
